This fun Block of the Month is a 10 month program and covers wool applique, cotton applique and embellishing with threads.  There are fun facts through the book all about the trees pictured.  It is such a wonderful and lively little quilt to make.  The size of the quilt is 39″ x 51″  The background fabrics are hand dyed by Sue Spargo so they are exactly as the pattern states.  The cotton fabrics may vary but we aim to use fabrics as close to colour as the pattern.
You will learn so much about embroidery stitches with this one. It is like doing a sampler of stitches but ending up with a very cute quilt in the process.  This is a very textural quilt.  Included in this block of the month are the hand dyed wool fabrics, mill dyed wool fabrics, cottons/linens and ribbons and ric rac – no threads included but see below because we can do up a thread kit for you if you need it.

The book needs to be purchases separately so when registering let us know if you have the book or not so we can get the right amount of books in.

Price per month is $89.00 + p & p for 10 months.  (please think carefully about this block of the month, as once started you have to hang in there for the duration of 10 months as we cut the kits for especially for you)
