Description

This quilt is a collaboration between Jen Kingwell and me, Andrea Bair.  I made a similar quilt as part of a Block of the Month group, led by Kay Evans in Salt Lake City, Utah using Jen’s Gypsy Wife pattern as the inspiration.  The group created their quilts using wild and fun floral fabrics and called the quilts “Hanging Gardens”  I have a love of hearts and re designed my blocks with this in mind and the heart quilt evolved.  I am a big fan of Jen’s designs, fabrics and quilts and am very excited to be collaborating with her.

I first saw Andrea’s quilt on social media and thought “dang” it’s better than mine!!  I then saw it when I met Andrea in Salt Lake City.  It was even better in person.  I was thrilled when Andrea contacted me to see if she could share her quilt layout with others who asked her, and we came up with the idea to collaborate and share it with you all.

I’m lucky Andrea is a fan of my quilts and fabrics and we are both very excited about working together as I think her idea of this layout is brilliant.
