Welcome to The Apple Basket Patchwork Shop we are situated in  Kaiwaka, Northland, New Zealand. We offer original patterns and quilts as well as patterns  from other designers - Melly and Me, Moonshine Designs, Serendipity Studio, Favourite Things, Modkids, Indygo Junction, Heather Bailey, Tanya Whelan, Bunny Hill Designs,   Amy Butler,  Valori Wells and many more . Owner and quilt designer Ngaire Williams has designed a wide range of beautiful patterns which are highly sought after among quilters. She has been designing quilts for many years, and is constantly adding new patterns to her highly sought after design collection. 

This is my latest design using our lovely Rowan Cotton Glace Yarn and three different beautiful linen fabrics.  It was such fun to make, and a great project to learn how to crochet.  This is one of our classes - learn to crochet, to put an invisible zipper in, patchwork and quilting all on one small project.

Tegan has been busy designing a New Zealand Range.  You could use these designs to make cushions, or incorporate them into a quilt or use them like we have to make a canvas wallhanging.

These little creatures are so cute and so much fun to make.  I want to make them all in all different colours.  We stock the hand dyed wool fabric to make them with and we also do kits for them as well as the patterns.
